Angel food cake with blueberry topping

 

Here is what you need:

1 box Pillsbury Angel Food Cake Mix

1 container Cool Whip Free

1 container of blueberries

Make angel food cake according to box directions.  I evenly divided batter into two 9 inch springform pans to make two layers.  Once layers are cooked, lay them out to cool. 

Spread a layer of cool whip free on the first layer.  Then, carefully stack the second layer on top and spread another layer of cool whip.  Rinse blueberries and scatter them on the top of the cake.  I served this at our Super Bowl party and everyone wanted second! 🙂

    Ok, I loved your BBQ chicken pizza and now I see this YUMMY recipe. May have to try it tomorrow night. I am cooking a flank steak and stir fry veggies, so maybe for dessert.

    Glad you like it. It is a very light dessert and won’t make you feel like you have cheated like a lot of desserts do.
